DAY1:
ARRIVE SIEM REAP
Arrive
in Siem Reap and take a guided transfer to your hotel. Begin exploration of the
Angkor complex with visits to the South Gate of Angkor Thom, the Bayon, Ba
Phoun, the Elephant and Leper King Terraces, and the Royal Palace area. The day
ends with a climb to the summit of Phnom Bakheng for a sunset view over the
surrounding landscape. Overnight stay in Siem Reap.
DAY2:
TOUR IN SIEM REAP
In
the morning tour Banteay Samre and Banteay Srei, the birthplace of Khmer
classical-style architecture. Visit the Landmine Museum and the
enchanting Ta Prohm Temple which’s enveloped by the roots of enormous fig
trees. In the afternoon continue to explore magnificent Angkor Wat. Overnight
stay in Siem Reap.
DAY3:
TOUR IN SIEM REAP
Travel
by road this morning to Tonle Sap for a cruise on the lake known as the Great
Lake of Cambodia. (The best time of the year to visit the lake is Sep. to Feb.
when the water levels are high. Other sightseeing options may be offered if the
water levels are unsuitable for pleasant cruising.) Return to Siem Reap by
noon. In the afternoon, visit other temples including Takeo, Chau Say Tevoda,
Thammanon, and Srah Srang. Overnight stay in Siem Reap.
DAY4:
DEPART SIEM REAP
Free until
private transfer without a guide to the airport, for your exit flight.
